Mini brief - to create posts for social media on your chosen 'Whose History'

Ruth Sykes got us designing posts for social media in under an hour. I edited the imagery I had already designed for my 'Whose History' project; I altered the colour scheme to match my graphics insta account @grafixsvas.

Visually I think the image on the left communicates more effectively, due to its bold, posterised contrast and dynamic typeset. The image on the right seems more 'childish', but I think it's still valid as the written information is important content.

This task was interesting as it made us think what designers prioritise when making social media posts; for attracting online interaction, is the design more important or the content? That's why I chose to create two pieces, one for visual stimulus and one for content; short term and long term interaction.
